María Eugenia holds a Masters degree in Public Policy and Development from Paris School of Economics. She joined J-PAL in 2010 and is currently working as a research assistant for the “Comisión Brújula” which is advising the Chilean Ministry of Planning on innovative strategies to improve the social development of Chile. She is also working on the development of a public policy proposal and randomized evaluation to help reduce vulnerability in the event of natural disasters in the Dominican Republic. She has worked for UNDP in the Dominican Republic and CEPREMAP in France.
