Willa joined the J-PAL Africa office in December 2010 to develop projects in the fields of nutrition and early childhood development. Prior to J-PAL, Willa worked on several program evaluations, including the South African Child Support Grant and IMNCI implementation in India. She has also served as a consultant for the design of nutrition and child protection projects in India and Viet Nam. Her current research interests relate to school feeding, chronic disease prevention, frontline health care provision, and early childhood nutrition.
