Martin joined J-PAL LAC in August 2010. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and a master’s in Economics and Public Policy from Universidad Adolfo Ibanez. He is currently working on two randomized evaluations in Chile. One is assessing the impact of tutoring on reading outcomes for fourth graders in vulnerable schools. The other is investigating the effect of training on labor market outcomes for housewives.
