M&E Management

J-PAL, in collaboration with CLEAR, is offering an advanced course in M&E Management that covers topics such as managing data collection and analysis, including advanced monitoring tools and evaluation methods. This course is targeted towards individuals from non-profit institutions, practitioners and researchers in the social sector who are involved in design, implementation, research and analysis of social programs. 

This four-day training program, Using Monitoring and Evaluation Tools: Advanced Module focuses on rigorous monitoring and evaluation techniques using various quantitative and qualitative methods. Broadly, the topics covered under this module include: theoretical foundations in M&E; tools for conducting M&E; quantitative and qualitative research methods used in M&E; data management, including digital and non-digital collection, data cleaning and analysis; and program management. The workshop incorporates sessions to develop technical skills, like the use of STATA and excel, for better data analysis and reporting. Other skills imparted include developing systems for data quality and budgeting.

The Centers for Learning on Evaluation and Results (CLEAR) is a global 5-year multilateral program that aims to strengthen the capacity of, and promote excellence in, regional institutions to provide monitoring and evaluation capacity-development services to government and civil society.
