Raissa holds a M.Sc. in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in Economics from McGill University. She joined J-PAL Latin America in 2009 where she worked on a project assessing the impact of information and impatience on pension choice. In 2010 she worked for IPA, J-PAL’s partner organization, in Western Kenya where she oversaw the randomized evaluation of a fertilizer subsidy program. Raissa joined J-PAL Africa in 2011.
