Éducation

Le secteur Éducation de J-PAL vise à améliorer l’accès et la fourniture d’une instruction primaire et post-primaire de qualité. Dans cette optique, ses chercheurs effectuent des travaux sur des questions telles que la pédagogie, la formation des enseignants, les incitations (pour les enfants, les professeurs et les familles), la gestion des établissements scolaires, le développement de la petite enfance, ou encore les technologies de l’information et de la communication. 
Créée en 2012 grâce au soutien de la fondation Douglas B. Marshall et de la fondation MacArthur, l’Initiative Éducation post-primaire finance des évaluations aléatoires qui mettent au point et éprouvent des solutions innovantes visant à améliorer l’accès, la qualité et la pertinence de l’enseignement post-primaire dans les pays en voie de développement entier.
