Rebecca joined the J-PAL Africa office in January 2011 as a Research Analyst in the field of education. Before joining J-PAL, Rebecca co-founded a legal education project for high school learners in South Africa and has participated in the creation of curriculum for primary school learners in mathematics and English. She holds a B.Soc.Sci (Honours) in Economics from the University of Cape Town, where she also worked as a Research Assistant on changing household size in South Africa. Her current research interests relate to early childhood learning and school management systems.
