Suganya Venugopal

Research Associate, J-PAL South Asia

Suganya Veugopal is a Research Support Assistant at J-PAL South Asia. Suganya primarily supports the Sleep Project, assisting in designing survey questionnaires, conducting qualitative research, refining survey instruments, managing and coordinating with teams, supporting the project in setting up and managing field offices, supervising data collection, administrative tasks, and assisting with data cleaning.

In 2018, Suganya was a Project Associate for the Chronic Sleep Project at J-PAL South Asia. Suganya holds a bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Anna Adharsh College (Madras University), Chennai and a master's degree in Medical sociology from Madras Medical Mission Allied Health Science (Dr. M.G.R Medical University), Chennai.
