Oscar joined J-PAL in October 2011 and works on a variety of projects related to J-PAL's policy and training areas. Oscar holds a B.A. in economics and psychology from Yale, where he focused his studies on finding applications of psychology to international development. Before joining J-PAL, Oscar had interned with Dowser.org in New York and with Innovations for Poverty Action in Lima, Peru. Oscar is originally from El Salvador.
