Dilip joined J-PAL South Asia in July 2011 and is working on two randomized evaluation projects; one involving corruption reduction and another regarding micronutrient fortification strategies in India's Midday Meals Program in Orrisa. Dilip holds a Masters Degree in Economic Development from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, which he attended via the International Ford Foundation Fellowship Program. During his time at Vanderbilt he interned at UNIDO in Austria, and completed a masters’ thesis on the dynamics of microcredits in India. Prior to attending Vanderbilt, Dilip worked over three years as a professional executive with PRADAN, a grassroots NGO in India. He also holds an undergraduate degree is in Chemical Engineering.
