Andreas currently divides his work between two randomized evaluations: one in the area of secondary education and the other investigating the role of savings accounts for the rural poor. Andreas joined J-PAL in August 2011 from UNESCO, where he worked as an Assistant Programme Specialist in the Section for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Andreas holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Konstanz University and a Master's in Political Science from Rutgers University.
