Caitlin Tulloch holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago. While at Chicago she assisted Dr. Emily Oster in research on HIV in Africa, as well as education and women's issues in India. Caitlin joined J-PAL in 2009, where she is working on policy analysis and outreach. She performs cost-effectiveness analyses of various interventions, which allow for comparison between them, providing policymakers with information on which programs will be the most efficient and effective for their particular needs. Caitlin also helps maintain the J-PAL website, writes policy-oriented summaries for general use, and disseminates those resources to NGOs, governments, and donors.
