Raimundo holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from the University of Chile. Previously, he worked as a research assistant at the Ministry of Economics of the Chilean government and at the Centro de Investigación Social of Un Techo Para Mi País (UTPMP), an NGO. There, he focused on evaluating the impact of housing and social capital development programs in different slums of Latin America. He is currently working in three different randomized evaluations of UTPMP that aim to increase housing quality conditions and human development levels of people who live in settlements throughout the region. He is also working on evaluations derived from the Compass Commission, which are three different components of a youth program, a comprehensive approach to address the problems of labor market participation and risky behavior on young vulnerable population. He joined J-PAL LAC in 2009.
