Srinivasan graduated with a Master of Regional Planning from Cornell University in 2010. His masters' thesis studied the political economy of discretionary centre-state transfers in India. He is interested in issues of governance, provision of public services and social equity. Srini joined JPAL in June 2010 as a Research Associate for the NHRM Karnataka: Assessment of PHCs project. He grew up in Mumbai and holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
