Health Care Delivery Innovation Competition

The J-PAL North America Health Care Delivery Innovation Competition supports health care organizations and government health agencies in the United States in developing compelling and reliable evidence of innovative programs.
The competition supports the design and implementation of randomized evaluations of promising health and social service programs to improve health outcomes and enhance the accessibility and affordability of quality health care.
Why participate?
Through this competition, health care organizations can apply to receive:
- Matchmaking with researchers. Selected applications will work with J-PAL staff to develop partnerships and connections with J-PAL’s network of experienced academic researchers to design and implement a randomized evaluation.
- Technical assistance. Selected applicants will receive technical assistance from J-PAL staff on study design and feasibility.
- Evaluation funding. Selected applicants that collaborate with a researcher from J-PAL’s network to design a high-quality evaluation are eligible to jointly apply for funding through our bi-annual Request for Proposals to cover the costs of evaluation, typically in the range of $150,000 to $250,000.
