Nicolás Buchbinder is a Policy and Research Manager at J-PAL Latin America & the Caribbean. He currently works on three evaluations: a growth mindset intervention and a computer-assisted learning software for middle schoolers in Salta, Argentina, and a teacher training program for math instruction in Chile. In addition, he supports the launch of an Innovation and Evaluation Hub in the Ministry of Education of the Province of Salta, Argentina. Prior to joining J-PAL in 2017, he worked for the Inter-American Development Bank, conducting research on school finance in Argentina.
Nicolás holds a master's in education (international education policy) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Educación from the University of Buenos Aires.
