Rohini is a Research Associate at J-PAL SA where she is working on the ‘Improving Opioid De- Addiction Protocols in India’ project in Punjab, India.
Prior to joining J-PAL, Rohini worked with Evidence for Policy Design, India as a Research Assistant on the Gender and Skills project in Odisha. The study aimed to understand what constrains Female Labour Force Participation and why. She primarily assisted in extensive scoping to develop appropriate systems for a larger randomized intervention. Additionally, she managed field research activities along with collecting, monitoring and analysing administrative data. Rohini also served as a Research Assistant with Tata Institute of Social Sciences for a study project in mining-affected villages with Government of Gujarat. Her team designed specifically tailored annual development plans using insights gathered through household surveys, interviews and FGDs. Prior to this, she worked with Science for All foundation, as a Program Manager, where she recruited, trained and managed part-time STEM subject facilitators in low income public schools. She has also been an SEI Fellow of the 2015-2016 cohort.
Rohini holds a Bachelors degree in Statistics from Fergusson College, Pune.
