Muhammad Ivan Mahardika

Senior Research Associate, J-PAL Southeast Asia

Ivan Mahardika is a Senior Research Associate at J-PAL Southeast Asia where he works on social protection program in Indonesia, including the Raskin Reform project. Prior to this position, he was an intern at J-PAL Southeast Asia where he assisted an exploratory study on micro equity financing for SMEs in the Greater Jakarta Region. Previously, he interned at Edelman and World Resources Institute.

Ivan holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from Universitas Indonesia. He majored in international political economy and was a teaching assistant to international political economy course. During his college years, he was the President of the Indonesian Student Association for International Studies (ISAFIS). He also led the Indonesia delegation to the Youth Innovation Competition on Global Governance (YICGG) organized by Fudan University and UNDP China.
