Thomas Gesmond

Research Associate, J-PAL Europe

Thomas Gesmond is a Research Associate at J-PAL Europe where he works on a randomized evaluation of a program aiming at reducing early school dropout in France by developing students' non-cognitive skills.

Prior to joining J-PAL Europe, he interned at the French inter-ministry delegation on shelter and access to housing and worked as part of his master’s thesis on a randomized evaluation of a national French experimentation providing a direct access to housing and an unconditional social accompaniment to homeless individuals.

He holds a master degree in public policy and development from the Paris School of Economics and a bachelor in economics from the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
