Gargee Goswami is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia, where she works on the Emissions Trading Scheme project that aims to design, pilot, and evaluate market-based regulation of particulate matter in India. During her graduate study, she worked with Clement Imbert and Roland Rathelot on the Odisha DDU-GKY project, studying the short-term effects of skills training on employment and livelihood expectations of the rural youth in Odisha.
Previously, she worked on projects in macroeconomic research and urban sanitation at the Centre for Policy Research (CPR), New Delhi. She has also interned with J-PAL South Asia in the past. Gargee holds a BA (Honors) in economics from University of Delhi and an MSc in economics from University of Warwick.
