Ilf Bencheikh joined J-PAL in 2011 as the Deputy Director of the Europe office. He manages the administrative structure, serves as a resource for researchers and program assistants, and helps to disseminate results to policymakers and the media. He holds a Masters Degree in Political Studies from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and a Master Degree in International Cooperation and Development Issues from Université Paris-I Panthéon-Sorbonne. He has 10 years of working experience in various countries (Lebanon, Vietnam, Cambodia, Romania, Portugal) and various types of working structures (French Cooperation, French-speaking Universities Agency, and the private sector).
