Senior Research Manager, J-PAL South Asia

Aakriti Kalra Bhandari is a Senior Research Manager at J-PAL South Asia. In this role, she leads the research and evaluation agenda for the Implementation Science Lab in Education in collaboration with the What Works Hub for Global Education. 

She has extensive experience in research on teachers and teaching quality, managing classroom observation studies, supporting early grade reading programs, and engaging with government stakeholders on education service delivery. Before joining J-PAL, Aakriti worked at the World Bank in India and Southern Africa. 

Aakriti has a Masters in International Education Policy from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree in Journalism from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University.
