Elise Vaussy
Research Associate, Morocco Innovation and Evaluation Lab, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa
Elise Vaussy is a Research Associate at the Morocco Innovation and Evaluation Lab (MEL), where she supports the design, implementation, and analysis of research projects aimed at enhancing evidence-based policymaking in Morocco, particularly within the education sector.
Prior to joining MEL in 2026, Elise worked as a research assistant at UCL (Belgium) where she participated in the preparation and implementation of a survey on people of subsaharan origin in Belgium (designing survey questionnaire, training and managing survey teams, overseeing data collection, ensuring data quality, cleaning and analyzing data, writing of project reports).
She holds a Master's degree in Impact Assessment of Public Policies and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Economics from University Paris Dauphine (France) and ENSAE Dakar (Senegal).
