Senior Research Associate, J-PAL South Asia

Anitha is a Senior Research Associate with J-PAL South Asia, currently working on an evaluation with Pratham on testing innovative interventions that support girls/ women in accessing and completing education. Anitha also led the Field Connect Program, a Research Operations initiative at J-PAL, which is a unique program offering on-ground support for Researcher and policy professionals to garner grassroots insights for policy dialogues/ proposal development. Anitha has led over 12 short-term studies across sectors, including Agriculture, Education, Labor Markets, Gender, and Health.

Anitha holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Studies and Research in Biological Research at Ashoka University. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a major in Environmental Studies at Ashoka University.
