Shambhavi Lal

Shambhavi Lal is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia based in New Delhi. She has worked on projects in the Gender and Crime and Violence sector, examining gender and institutional practices in policing, and in the Energy, Environment, and Climate Change sector, studying barriers to civic action related to air pollution. In this role, she supports survey design and implementation, data management, and analysis for randomized evaluations.

Shambhavi holds a BA (Hons) in economics with a minor in psychology and a postgraduate diploma in advanced research from Ashoka University.
