Khushi Singh

Khushi Singh is a Policy Manager at J-PAL South Asia, based in New Delhi, where she leads the climate resilience portfolio and the Swachh Bharat Mission engagement with the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation. She builds partnerships with central and state government departments and works with researchers in J-PAL’s global affiliate network to bring rigorous evidence into policy decisions. Her current work includes the SARWA Lab with the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, particularly its engagement with the Swachh Bharat Mission, a sanitation project focused on enhancing the use of community sanitation complexes in Bihar, and building the climate resilience portfolio for South Asia, including work on heat, floods, and droughts.

Prior to joining J-PAL, Khushi worked at the Air Pollution Action Group, where she worked with state-level municipal bodies and senior government offices at the Centre to shape national clean-air policy. Before that, she built the social impact vertical at Josh Talks.

Khushi holds a Master’s in Governance, Development and Public Policy from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Ashoka University.
