Urmi Paranjpye

Urmi Paranjpye is a Senior Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia, based in Bhubaneswar, where she works on the Advisory Services for Women Migrant Labourers (ASWM) project in Odisha-Jharkhand and Bangalore. As a member of the Research team, she works on data analysis and statistical research and oversees field activities, survey and intervention implementation, and field operations.

Prior to joining J-PAL, Urmi worked as a Research Associate at the Centre for Economic Data and Analysis (CEDA), Ashoka University.

Urmi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Fergusson College and a Master’s degree in Economics from Azim Premji University.
