Marithe Sylla

Marithé Sylla is a Policy Intern at J-PAL Africa where she supports the policy team in translating evidence into policy and contributes to outreach and stakeholder engagement efforts. Prior to joining J-PAL in 2025, she worked at UN Women in the Women’s Economic Empowerment division and at the French Development Agency (AFD) in the Education, Vocational Training, and Employment division. Marithé holds a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies and Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and a Master's degree in Development Economics and International Project Management, with a focus on Impact Evaluation, from Université Gustave Eiffel.
