Adnan Khan is a professor at the School of Public Policy at the London School of Economics. His areas of interest include geoeconomics, economic development, political economy, and state capacity.
Before joining the School of Public Policy, Adnan served as Research and Policy Director at the International Growth Centre at LSE and taught Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. He also served as Chief Economist to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the UK, and previously as a civil servant in Pakistan.
Adnan holds a PhD in economics from Queen's University.
