We are a small and entrepreneurial team that operates with minimal hierarchy. All of us contribute to a shared mission in unique and complementary ways.
Role overview
We’re looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our team. You’ll coordinate and manage a large-scale randomized controlled trial (RCT) of Noora Health’s maternal and child health program in India. You’ll work closely with data and behavioral scientists from The Agency Fund, researchers from UC Berkeley, data collectors from the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), and our partners at Noora Health.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in fluid, collaborative, multi-stakeholder environments and wants to contribute to a mission-driven organization.
What you'll do:
- Organize and document weekly meetings with various teams and partners involved in the RCT
- Track and follow up on deliverables and action items for all stakeholders to ensure accountability
- Identify and bring up issues, needs, risks, and blockers to progress
- Review project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure timely and rigorous completion of the RCT, including funding submissions, government permissions and relations, IRB approval, data collection and monitoring, program operations, etc.
Who you are:
- Have a Master’s degree in economics, public health, statistics, management, or a related field
- Have 2-3 years of work experience in project management, especially in the non-profit or social impact sector
- Have strong organization, communication, and prioritization skills
- Can be assertive and tactful to ensure timely and quality execution
- Are comfortable in a relatively flat team structure
- Are willing to work across time zones (primarily India Standard Time, with colleagues in the U.S.)
- Care deeply about impact, curiosity, and learning
- Thrive in a collaborative environment where feedback is shared openly
Bonus points if you have:
- Familiarity with RCTs or similar empirical research
- Knowledge of basic statistics, e.g., OLS regression
Why join us:
- Work with a kind, talented, and mission-driven team
- Collaborate with bold thinkers across social impact, data, and product innovation
- Shape projects that directly expand human agency
- Opportunities for travel contingent on visa acquisition.
Location: Bangalore, at Noora Health’s office, hybrid: 2-3 days per week.
