Louis-Maël Jean
Training and Policy Manager, J-PAL Europe
Louis-Maël Jean is a Training Manager at J-PAL Europe and the Alliance for Data, Evaluation and Policy Training (ADEPT). In this role, he supports the development of institutional partnerships to train the next generation of students, researchers and decision makers in evidence-informed policymaking.
Prior to joining the Training team and ADEPT, Louis-Maël worked for 2 years as a research assistant for Prof. Esther Duflo on various health-related projects. He joined J-PAL in 2021.
Louis-Maël holds an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford (UK) and a BSc in Mathematics & Economics from École Polytechnique (France) and is fluent in French, German and English.
