Antara Keswani

Antara Keswani is a Policy Manager at J-PAL South Asia, based in Delhi, where she works at the intersection of research, policy, and partnerships. Her work involves developing and managing partnerships with government, philanthropic, and development partners, and supporting the generation and use of rigorous evidence to inform policy and programmes. She currently works on managing research grants and initiatives, including supporting research calls, partnerships, and the translation and dissemination of evidence.

Previously, Antara worked with J-PAL South Asia’s Gender sector, where she led and supported evidence generation and policy engagement on gender-based violence and women’s economic participation. Her work included managing funding initiatives, developing partnerships with grassroots organisations and other stakeholders, synthesising evidence, and supporting policy communications and convenings.

She has also worked across research and policy roles with organisations including ICF Consulting, the Centre for Policy Research and Governance, and Sapio Analytics. Earlier in her career, she was a Research Intern with J-PAL South Asia on the Emission Trading Scheme (ETS) Project in Gujarat.

Antara holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi, and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from O.P. Jindal Global University.
