Charul Dhingra

Charul Dhingra is a Senior Policy Manager at J-PAL South Asia, based in Delhi, where she leads ASPIRE’s portfolio focused on mobilising funding and scaling rigorously evaluated education and gender interventions. As a member of the Policy, Training, and Communications team, her portfolio includes Math Games, Gender Equity Curriculum, remote tutoring interventions, and Karnataka EdLabs. She also co-leads ASPIRE grant management, working with government stakeholders, researchers, implementation partners, and funders to strengthen state capacity and pathways for scale.

Prior to joining J-PAL South Asia in 2024, Charul worked with NGOs in the education sector to support the Indian Ministry of Education, NCERT, and several state governments in designing and implementing large-scale education transformation programs leveraging technology and data. She also supported government stakeholders in implementing the NIPUN Bharat Mission through whole-school improvement programs led by education leaders at scale.

Charul holds a Master’s degree in Education from Azim Premji University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Ahmedabad University.
