Senior Research Associate, J-PAL South Asia

Alosias is a Senior Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia at IFMR. He supports multiple study evaluations, data work, field operations, and administration at Behavioral Development Lab. Prior to joining J-PAL South Asia, he worked at Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR- LEAD) as a Research Assistant on the Chronic Sleep project.

Alosias holds a Bachelor's degree in philosophy and sociology and a Master's degree in integrated social work from Madras School of Social Work, Chennai. During his Masters, he worked with NGOs including International Foundation for Crime Prevention and Victim Care (PCVC), Don Bosco Social Action Research Centre (DB SARC) for Rural community development, and Indian Council for Children Welfare (ICCW). He wrote his dissertation on the challenges confronted by non-profit organizations in Chennai.
