Dennis Egger

Dennis Egger is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford and a Tutorial Fellow in Economics at The Queen’s College, Oxford. His research focuses on development, labor, and trade, with a focus on Kenya, Malawi, Ethiopia, China, and Switzerland.

Dennis is a member of the Centre for the Study of African Economies (CSAE) and the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA), and he is the recipient of the 2024 Frisch Medal for the best applied economics paper published in Econometrica in the last four years.

He holds a PhD in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
