Nathan Fiala

Nathan Fiala is an Associate Professor at the University of Connecticut. His research focuses on growth and development, food security, household bargaining, individual preferences and community action in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.

He is also an honorary senior lecturer at Makerere University in Uganda, and a research fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research in Essen, Germany. Prior to joining the University of Connecticut, Nathan was a postdoctoral fellow at the German Institute for Economic Research.

Nathan holds a PhD in economics from the University of California, Irvine.
