Wissal Kehal

Policy & Research Associate
Wissal is a Policy and Research Associate at the UM6P-J-PAL Applied Lab for Agriculture (UJALA), where she supports the coordination and delivery of the UJALA African Scholars Program, contributes to research design and analysis, manages mentorship processes, and supports training and outreach activities.
Prior to joining J-PAL, Wissal worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Sheffield, where she contributed to fieldwork on the green transition within the Moroccan garment industry. She was also a collaborator on the Global Social Connection Research Project with the Annecy Behavioral Science Lab, where she conducted cross-cultural qualitative research in Morocco.
Wissal holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Behavioral and Social Sciences for Public Policy from University Mohammed VI Polytechnic, with a strong focus on evidence-based evaluation and applied behavioral research.
