Shruti Nag

Shruti Nag has worked in the field of education for the last several years, with a special interest in classroom instructional practices, bilingual teaching and teacher training. Her work focuses on early childhood education and primary school teaching.
She has worked on education projects in various parts of India, working with under served communities, teachers and children in New Delhi, Assam, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. She has been associated with the NGOs Pratham, Room To Read, Azim Premji Foundation. She has also worked in Nepal, Bangladesh, Laos and Cambodia where she has helped local NGOs design early grade reading curriculum and training material for teachers, among other responsibilities.

Shruti has been working with NEEV as a teacher researcher helping schools bring about a change in the learning culture by integrating activity based child- friendly pedagogy within the regular classroom transactions of the schools.
