Aya Elbahtieny

Aya Elbahtieny is a Senior Administrative Assistant at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa at the American University in Cairo, where she supports the team in general operations and administration, knowledge management and databases, procurement, recruitment, and other support services.

Prior to joining J-PAL, she worked as a Psychosocial Support Specialist with the Ministry of Social Solidarity.

Aya has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Anthropology from Helwan University.
