Lauren is an Education and Training Manager at J-PAL Africa. Her work focuses on strengthening research and evaluation across sub-Saharan Africa through capacity-building initiatives for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers. She also works to strengthen the participation and visibility of African researchers within J-PAL’s global network and experimental economics.
Prior to joining J-PAL, Lauren worked at a Cape Town-based economic development and urban planning consultancy firm, where she was involved in research, project management and report writing.
She holds an MA in Economic Development and Bachelor of Commerce in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, both from the University of Cape Town. own.
