Trishna Saikia

Trishna is a Senior Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia. In her role, she supports the first-ever large-scale evaluation of a socio-emotional curriculum being implemented in Tripura’s public schools.

Prior to joining J-PAL, she worked at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, addressing issues of gender-based violence and their redressal mechanisms. Her research interests center on the sociology of development, particularly in the areas of gendered labor and agrarian livelihoods.

Trishna holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Ambedkar University, Delhi.
