Md Dilshad Ahmad

Dilshad Ahmad is a Policy Manager at J-PAL South Asia, where he works with the Policy Scale-Ups (ASPIRE) team. In this role, he plays a central role in strengthening J-PAL’s engagement with JEEViKA, Government of Bihar in their Graduation program SJY, and other state government partners in contributing to the broader Graduation Approach scale-up agenda.

Previously, Dilshad worked with Invest India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India where he engaged closely with the North Eastern State Government’s sectoral departments and agencies to help them with updating their industrial policy, benchmarking, investment ecosystem strengthening, and capacity building. He also worked with the Government of Meghalaya as a Chief Minister Fellow to further legal and policy reforms in the beautiful hill state of Meghalaya. He also served as an Odisha Development Fellow with the Government of Odisha.

Dilshad holds a Master’s in Public Policy from National Law School of India University, Bengaluru and a Bachelor of Technology from People’s University.
