Isabella Atul Gupta

Isabella Gupta is a Senior Training Associate at J-PAL South Asia, based in New Delhi. She works with the Training team to design and deliver monitoring and evaluation (M&E) programmes for policymakers and development partners, and supports broader capacity-building initiatives under CLEAR South Asia. Her work spans programme design, content development, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on strengthening the use of evidence and M&E in policy and practice.

Prior to joining J-PAL, Isabella worked as a research assistant at the National University of Singapore, where she worked on projects examining equitable access to groundwater for drinking water and irrigation in India and the role energy policy plays in shaping access.

Isabella holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Singapore Management University.
