Menna Enan

Research Associate, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa
Menna Enan is a Research Associate at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa at the American University in Cairo, where she works on evaluating the impact of the Ultra-Poor Graduation program—an intervention aimed at poverty alleviation—on households’ climate stress perceptions, vulnerabilities, and migration decisions.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2024, she worked as a Research Assistant on a randomized controlled trial conducted in collaboration between UNICEF and the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University.
Menna holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics, with a minor in Social Science Computing, from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University.
