Leonie Rauls
Policy Manager, J-PAL Global
Leonie Rauls is a Policy Manager at J-PAL Global, where she manages the Agriculture sector, oversees the Agricultural Technology Adoption Initiative (ATAI) and the Digital Agricultural Innovations and Services Initiative (DAISI), and supports the UM6P-J-PAL Applied Lab for Agriculture. As a member of the Policy and Communications group, Leonie works with governments, NGOs, academics, and others to build partnerships and advance evidence-informed policymaking.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2023, she worked as a journalist for Americas Quarterly, a publication covering Latin American politics, economics, and culture. She has also worked with the International Crisis Group in Bogotá, Colombia.
Leonie holds a Master of International Affairs with a concentration in economic development from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a BA in political science and Spanish from Amherst College.
