Poonam Bali

Poonam Bali is the Associate Director of Human Resources at J-PAL Global, where she manages all aspects of human resources for the Global Office. She works closely with senior leadership to develop and implement HR policies and collaborates with MIT’s SHASS to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the organization.

Before joining J-PAL, Poonam built more than 15 years of experience in talent and performance management, change management, and leadership development. She has led HR initiatives for Fortune 500 companies, supporting leaders and teams through periods of growth and change. She is known for her practical, people-focused approach and her ability to strengthen leadership, improve team effectiveness, and guide organizations through complex challenges.

Poonam holds a Master’s degree in Leadership & Administration from Boston College and a degree in Human Resources.
