Senior Research, Education, and Training Manager, J-PAL Global

Eitan Paul is a Senior Research, Education, and Training Manager at J-PAL Global at MIT. He oversees J-PAL’s researcher pipeline activities, research staff trainings, and the Master's program in Data, Economics, and Design of Policy (DEDP). Eitan provides technical advising on research for J-PAL staff and early career researchers and serves as the academic advisor for DEDP students. He also conducts his own research related to political economy and governance in Southeast Asia.

Eitan holds a PhD in Public Policy & Political Science from the University of Michigan, an MA in Law & Diplomacy from Tufts University, and a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. He previously worked on electoral reform projects for The Asia Foundation in Timor-Leste and the National Democratic Institute in Cambodia.
