Malik Abaddi
Policy Manager & Delivery Lead
Malik Abaddi is Deputy Lab Director for the UM6P-J-PAL Applied Lab for Agriculture (UJALA), where he manages day-to-day operations and works with the Lab Director to support UJALA's development and its research portfolio.
Malik first joined J-PAL in 2024 as a Senior Policy Associate and later served as Policy Manager and Delivery Lead, working on the lab's research pipeline and communication efforts. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS).
Malik's career also includes serving as Evaluation Manager at OCP Nutricrops, the plant nutrition arm of OCP Group, building evaluation systems for farmer-facing agricultural programs.
Malik holds a master's degree in the Geopolitics and Geoeconomics of Africa from HEC Paris and a bachelor of laws from Durham University.
