Yash Bajaj

Yash Bajaj is a Policy Manager at J-PAL Global, where he manages projects across the Education and Social Protection sectors. As a member of the Policy and Communications group, Yash works with governments, NGOs, academics, funders, and others to build and manage partnerships and advance evidence-informed policymaking. 

Prior to joining J-PAL Global in 2026, Yash spent eight years working with governments and nonprofit organizations in India. His work focused on improving foundational education, strengthening workforce development programs, reforming government recruitment and performance systems, and supporting elected representatives through legislative research and policy analysis.

Yash holds a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi.
