Anne Kersting
Policy Advisor, J-PAL Global
Anne Kersting is a Policy Manager at J-PAL Global, where she works on the Finance sector. As a member of the Policy and Communications group, Anne works with governments, NGOs, academics, and others to build partnerships and advance evidence-informed policymaking.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2025, Anne worked at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as a Project Developer and Technical Advisor on sustainable finance in Germany. In previous roles at GIZ, she worked in Nigeria on projects related to economic development and supported partnerships with private foundations and philanthropies. She also worked at the United Nations Secretariat in New York, in the financial industry, and for a parliamentarian in Germany.
Anne holds a MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bayreuth.
